Center for Research in Cognition and Neurosciences

The CRCN houses facilities and resources enabling researchers, students and scientific partners to investigate the cognitive and neurophysiological bases for of human behaviourbehaviour/cognition and its disorders. The Center was recently awarded a “Grands Equipements” grant from the F.R.S.-FNRS, which, with additional support from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, enabled it to completely overhaul its technical platform.

The experience rooms and equipment are made available to users, subject to availability • The use of the experiment rooms and equipment is regulated by a charter. • The use of equipment is conditional on proof of sufficient expertise or prior training by members of the CRCN • Training can be provided as part of a scientific collaboration • The use of certain equipment could be conditional on contracting a liability insurance (decision taken on a case-by-case basis by the management committee) • The use of the infrastructures is free within the academic framework of the ULB, but a contribution to the operating costs is requested • The use of the infrastructures by researchers external to the ULB is subject to a specific agreement and invoicing, and must be approved by the management committee
