Servicios Generales de Apoyo a la Investigación Experimental de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid

Segainvex is a group of 30 engineers and technicians, whose objective is to give service to CEI UAM + CSIC researchers, developing custom instrumentation and supplying cryogenic liquids that allow their experimental capabilities to be placed at the forefront of research. Our researchers know that having a different, versatile instrumentation that allows them to implement those unique ideas, that distinguishes them from the rest, can make a difference in the results. Segainvex is made up of the electronics, mechanics, glass and quartz departments, as well as an administration and purchasing department. We carry out complete instrumentation from design to manufacture and fine-tuning of the finished product.

The requirement for access to the service is to belong to any of the following centers: •Any department, center or university research institute belonging exclusively to the UAM. •UAM-CSIC centers •Centers belonging to the Campus of International Excellence CEI UAM+CSIC Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) Madrid Institutes for Advanced Studies (IMDEA) Health Research Institutes of Hospitals associated with the Medicine Faculty.
