Electron Microscopy Centre at the Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry
Stockholms Universitet
Electron microscopy centre with scanning and transmission electron microscopes for materials studies down to sub-Ångström distances. The instruments have capacities for elemental analysis using energy dispersive spectroscopy, both SEM and TEM. The TEM also have electron energy loss spectrometers (EELS) for chemical analysis and spectroscopic studies. Imaging from micrometre scale to sub-Ångström. Elemental analysis and mapping at high spatial resolution, studies of electronic structure (chemical shift) of elements at high spatial resolution. Electron tomography, Electron crystallography using both high resolution electron micrographs and electron diffraction data.
