Equipment The main activities of the Laboratory are mainly focused on the problems of representation and virtual and multimedia documentation of the anthropized territory, as well as of architecture. The activity of the Laboratory is aimed at an ever more effective integration of theoretical and instrumental traditions with current technologies which - for some time now profitably and verified also in the methodological and operational aspects - characterize the lines of research. The activities of the DAALab can be summarized in: - Research activity in the field of Architectural Design, Survey and Descriptive Geometry; - Research agreements on behalf of third parties; - Activities related to school-work alternation; - Teaching support (Undergraduates) relating to the Degree Courses of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil and Industrial Engineering; - Support to teaching and research (PhD students) relating to the PhD in History, Design and Restoration of Architecture The permanent research activity carried out at the Laboratory by the Research Unit should be noted “Open-air museum”, whose operational area is represented by the Monumental complex of the Verano in Rome.Main DAALab works: • Castel Sant'Angelo a Roma (1996-1999) • Il Palazzo Reale di Caserta (2003-5) • Complesso del Verlasce a Venafro (2008-9) • Complesso di San Vincenzo al Volturno (2008-9) • S. Description DAALab provides facilities, resources or related services to researchers also from outside of the RI institution itself. Resources and related services are used by the scientific community to conduct top-level research in their respective fields and covers major scientific equipment or sets of instruments; knowledge-based resources such as archives or structures for scientific information; enables Information and Communications Technology-based infrastructures such as Grid, computing, software and communication, or any other entity of a unique nature essential to achieve excellence in research.
