Equipment AGILENT INFINITY 1290 II / LC-MS / MS is extensively applied for the trace analysis of organic substances of pharmaco-toxicological interest in complex matrices (environmental and agri-food matrices, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, fluids and biological tissues). In areas of biomedical interest, LC-MS / MS can be used for the determination in biological fluids of steroid and peptide hormones and / or substances capable of altering their levels (e.g. endocrine disruptors), for therapeutic monitoring, for study of the metabolism of new active ingredients, for the analysis of new drugs of abuse in biological and non-biological matrices.

Description The system is a liquid ultra-chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS / MS). Chromatography is equipped with a high-pressure binary pumping module and double-needle autosampler. The spectrometer is a triple quadrupole (QQQ) tandem mass analyzer with an ESI ion source.
