The main objective of the Thermo-Physical Properties Characterization Platform is allow understanding the link between thermal and radiative properties of materials, as well as their morphology and surface state.

Confocal microscopy
The facility is open to scientic communities of both the academic and private sectors, upon request to the facility manager.
The facility includes equipments (e.g., confocal microscope, X-ray microtomograph) for the characterisation and measurement of thermal and radiative properties, as well as physical surface properties such as roughness and morphological properties. The facility staff can also provide assistance and expertise to the users.
