Description

TAGC - Theories and Approaches of Genomic Complexity (UMR_S 1090 INSERM/AMU), is a laboratory with a very strong expertise in the field of genomics. Its services have been structured over the years to give rise to the TGML (Transcriptomics and Genomics Marseille-Luminy) Research Infrastructure.
As part of its structuring TGML obtained in 2008 the IBiSA label (Infrastructure in Biology, Health and Agronomy), and before joining the France Genomics distributed infrastructure, which pools resources of the main French genomics and bioinformatics platforms.
In 2015, TGML was awarded the AMU technology platform label (whose renewal was obtained in 2019).
TGLM built its recognition on strong expertise, standardization of procedures and complete openness to both national and international scientific communities. Besides, TGLM obtained, in 2015 the certification "ISO 9001: 2015 & NFX 50-900: 2016" which, after an external audit, got renewed in January 2021.
More recently, the platform has integrated the Marseille Institute for Rare Diseases - MarMaRa.

AMENITIES
Equipment

TGML offers its expertise for the analysis of different types of projects related to high-throughout sequencing. These include:
-transcriptomics (e.g. bulk RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, miRNA-seq),
-genomics (e.g. DNA-seq: SNPs, small/large InDels, full exome, targeted sequencing after capture),
-epigenomics (e.g. ChIP-seq, Mnase-seq, FAIRE-seq).
