Molecular and Cellular Biology Platform of the Mediterranean Neubiology Institute (Inmed)

The PBMC offers the technical tools and services to carry out experiments in molecular and gene biology, biochemistry and cell biology (Level 1 and 2 confined cultures).

PBMC is open to scientific communities of both the academic and private sectors, upon request (in the form of scientific projects) to the facility manager.

Among the services provided by PBMC are included:
-genotyping, PCR, and plasmid construction,
-transcriptional and protein expression studies (e.g., qPCR, Western Blot),
-access to cell banks, the choice for consumables,
-cultures of lineages, primary, organotypic slices (e.g., monitoring, transfections, and analysis).

The facility staff also provide support and training to build and adapt the protocols to the users' objectives; the new approches possibly developed are part of a continuous improvment process.
