Description Since June 2000, the MRI Center aims at enabling scientific and medical communities at the local, national and international levels, and from either the public or private sectors, to carry out research in the general field of fundamental neuroscience and clinical and cognitive psychology. The facility can also support research projects in other disciplines. Projects can be conducted on humans and animal models, taking advantage of the strong local expertise in non-human primate models (e.g., macaques, baboons, marmosets) of the Mediterranean Primate Research Centre (MPRC) staff.
