The animal facility allows conducting experiments with animal subjects (e.g., rats, mice) in the neuroscience research field.
The facility ensures the hosting and reproduction of subjects dedicated to experimentation (e.g., rats, mice), in compliance with European regulations (Directive 2010/63/EU).

The facility is open to scientific communities of both the academic and private sectors, upon request. Each project for accessing it must be submitted to the facility manager.
The facility consists of two containment zones (A1, A2) and therefore two types of health status: conventional and SPF. Each zone is equipped with areas dedicated to experimentation such as:
- Surgeries (e.g., stereotaxis, electroporation, perfusion)
- Electroencephalographic (EEG) recording
- Plethysmography
