Anechoic rooms

The facility is mainly used for research in acoustic.

The facility is open to scientific communities of both the academic and private sectors.

In detail, the facility is equipped with three audiometric sub-rooms, including a standardized room (BS 116), an acoustic field synthesis room, and a fully anechoic room.

These experimental rooms and hosted equipment allow performing auditory perception tests using various listening modes (e.g., headphones, speakers) and under different environments (= the rooms).
