- Artificial intelligence and its application
SCHADOC is driven by the collective initiative of regional actors’ will to attract talented Early-Stage Researchers (ESR) to the South-East region of France. The program, hosted at Aix-Marseille University (AMU), is designed as an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international training initiative. SCHADOC will upgrade AMU’s doctoral education and research capabilities focusing on strategic axes for advancement and increase employability opportunities for ESR. These axes, in line with the regional research and innovation smart specialization strategy (RI3S) and the societal challenges priorities (hubs) of our European alliance CIVIS, are: Societies and culture, Climate change and environmental challenges, Health and well-being, Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
40 ESRs will graduate in the frame of SCHADOC (20 recruited in 2025 and 20 in 2026). They will benefit from dedicated trainings and supervision in the triple I dimension: Interdisciplinarity; Intersectorality; International.
