Description
Are you interested in discovering new tools and practices on internalisation in education? Then save the date: 30 March - 4 April 2026. Aix-Marseille Université will be hosting the From Local to Global: Shaping the Future of International Education Staff Week, an event prioritising CIVIS partners. You’ll mix focused talks, hands-on workshops, and informal moments (welcome cocktail, cultural visit) led by amU and external contributors.
Main topics addressed
Content is concrete and practice-oriented: co-designing joint programmes (double/ multiple degrees, BIPs), showcasing COIL as a scalable “internationalisation at home” model, and sharing recruitment/ promotion playbooks (clear messaging for applicants and parents, ethical agent engagement, funnel clean-ups).
You’ll also see amU case examples - e.g., the French-Chinese Institute (WUT-AMU) and the International Classes tailored to attract and support incoming students - so you leave with templates, checklists, and contacts ready to reuse in your context.
The discussions will take place in English, with only some optional workshops in French. Please check the full programme for more details.
Key Benefits
The participants will get:
- ready-to-use tools: templates, checklists, QA/ recognition matrices;
- action plan: a concrete 90-day roadmap to launch a BIP/ COIL/ DD step;
- peer cases: practical AMU examples (e.g., WUT-AMU, International Classes) to adapt;
- partner matches: new contacts across CIVIS and beyond to co-pilot projects;
- playbooks: recruitment/ promotion tactics (clear messaging, ethical agent use, funnel clean-ups);
- confidence & clarity: clearer governance paths, roles, and next steps back home.
Fill-in the application form until 1 February 2026.
