Thanks to seed-funding projects, important collaborations have been initiated and developed among researchers working on various topics within the CIVIS alliance. A dissemination session will explore the range of themes and approaches developed by academics concerning inclusivity. Topics will include an examination of freedom of expression laws, local traditions of public participation and civic engagement in crisis prevention, the use of micro-credentials to promote well-being and the integration of disadvantaged migrants into higher education, to name a few. The hybrid session will offer an opportunity to discuss the value of adopting European and African perspectives, as well as existing collaborations beyond academia.
