MOOC. Apprentissage de l'expression écrite en français
The MOOC "Apprentissage de l’expression écrite en français" offers a progressive, modular training course grounded in the Didactics of Argumentation and Enunciation (DAE). The pathway is organised into two main blocks: a theoretical block presenting linguistic and discursive fundamentals (topical, enunciative, argumentative and locutionary levels) and a practical block devoted to application (guided exercises, independent writing tasks, infographics and videos). The course follows a theory–practice–consolidation cycle: conceptual input, targeted exercises, written productions and self‑assessment.
Main topics
The course covers the principles of written expression in French:
- discourse organisation
- argumentative structure,
- enunciative strategies,
- textual cohesion and coherence,
- lexical and grammatical resources,
- discourse markers, and writing practices (from sentence to text).
Learning outcomes
By the end of the MOOC, learners will be able to analyse the construction of meaning, select and mobilise appropriate linguistic resources, construct coherent argumentative texts, and produce independent written work suitable for academic or professional purposes.
The course also develops learner autonomy and the ability to self‑assess.
