DAALab provides facilities, resources or related services to researchers also from outside of the RI institution itself. Resources and related services are used by the scientific community to conduct top-level research in their respective fields and covers major scientific equipment or sets of instruments; knowledge-based resources such as archives or structures for scientific information; enables Information and Communications Technology-based infrastructures such as Grid, computing, software and communication, or any other entity of a unique nature essential to achieve excellence in research. The main activities of the Laboratory are mainly focused on the problems of representation and virtual and multimedia documentation of the anthropized territory, as well as of architecture. The activity of the Laboratory is aimed at an ever more effective integration of theoretical and instrumental traditions with current technologies which - for some time now profitably and verified also in the methodological and operational aspects - characterize the lines of research.
