In particular, one of its research teams (team "Climate") created automated classification softwares applied to coccoliths and coccolithophorids (SYRACO), foraminids and radiolarians (ParticleTrieur) on a routine base. All the image acquisition and processing equipments form together the MICROAUTOMATE facility.
